Terms of sale and cancelation

Reception: – The check-in time is from 5 pm to 7 pm (outside these hours, please, contact us). – After 9 pm, if you have not contacted us, the reservation will be canceled. No refunds will be made. – The check-out time is before 11am. You have the possibility to leave some luggages in the lobby for an extra few hours if you like.Others conditions: – All our bedrooms are fitted with private bathrooms. – Breakfast is included in the price (dished out from 7:00 to 10:00). – Each room has a flat screen TV. – Sheets and towels are included in the room rate. – The extra bed cost 20 euros per night (breakfast include). – Baby cots are loaned free of charge for children under 3 years. – Access to private garden. – Free internet in all the guesthouse (Wi-Fi and cable). – No fire in the fireplace (!!!) – Please report any broken or damaged equipment. – Please do not eat in the bedrooms. – To respect neighbors and the law, you are requested to limit noise after 10 pm. – It is forbidden to smoke inside; an ashtray is available outside the breakfast room. – Access to the bedroom reserved exclusively for customers. – Animals are not accepted – Sometimes, Hotel particulier Poppa may refuse to rent a room for only one night. For reasons of availability, Hotel particulier Poppa may also outclass the customer to a larger room by applying the room rate initially chosen by the customer.

Paiement: The owner accepts payment with cash or credit card (Visa, Mastercard …), but payments with check, travelers checks or American Express are not accepted. The balance has to be paid on arrival. Consumptions and additional services not mentioned in booking have to be paid to the owner at check-out time. The « touristic tax » is a local tax that the customer have to pay to the owner, who will transfer it to the Treasury.

Booking: – The booking is guaranteed only when a minimal deposit of one night per room is paid online on our website. This amount will be deducted from the final invoice. Upon receipt of this payment, a confirmation will be sent by e-mail.

Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation by the customer:
 All cancellations must be notified by e-mail or by letter to the owner.
a) Cancellation before arrival:
• Cancellations received more than 30 days* before arrival: refund of the amount paid less 20% of the price of a night in each room concerned.
• Cancellations received between 30 days and 15 days* before arrival: refund of the amount paid less 40% of the price of a night in each room concerned.
• Cancellations received between 14 days and 8 days* before arrival: refund of the amount paid less 70% of the price of a night in each room concerned.
• Cancellations received between 7 days and 3 days* before arrival: refund of the amount paid less the total cost of one night in each room concerned.
• Cancellations received between 2 days* before arrival and the check-in: no refund will be made and the entire stay will be charged.

Refund: When the deposit or the full online payment was made more than 3 months prior to the cancellation, the refund is only possible by bank transfer. Any bank charges generated by this transfer are for the customer.

b) If the client don’t manifest before 9 pm the scheduled day, the contract becomes void and the owner can dispose of its guest rooms.The owner keeps the amount paid and reserves the right to claim the balance of the staying price

c) If the stay is cut short, there will be no refund.

Cancellation by the owner: Where before the beginning of the stay, the owner cancels the stay, he must inform the customer by e-mail. The client, without any prejudice to his/her right to claim compensation for any damage which may have been incurred, will be immediately refunded of all payments. He will also receive a compensation at least equal to the penalty he would had to paid if the cancellation was his fact on the same date.

Tripadvisor: After your stay, you will receive an email with a « Opinion Express Tripadvisor » to rate the quality of our services. If you do not wish to receive this email, thank you to inform us before or during your stay.
